Dr Shradha Malik, Director, Athena Behavioral Health is a force to reckon with, who is on a mission to harbinger a change in the way people struggling with mental health and addiction disorders receive medical care.
She often says, “If you can bring your family to Athena, it speaks volumes about our quality. And that is what Athena is – a care center for your family.” Athena’s experienced staff, superior quality of care, indigenously developed evidence-based software solution, are all steps in that direction.
Dr. Malik has held strategic roles with companies such as HCL, Sovereign Health, AIG Business Solutions, MerlinRev and Star Health Insurance as EMR Implementation Specialist, Project Management Head, AVP Technology, U.S. Healthcare Billing and Operations Expert and multiple positions in the Claim Processing Business Unit.
During her tenure at companies such as Conduent, she worked closely with U.S. sales and business teams in the area of product suitability and cost estimations. She handled bids ranging from $2M-$100M TCV for government and commercial health care deals for worker compensation and payment integrity solutions and pharmacy platforms.
An experienced techie, Dr. Malik has led the implementation teams for products like Centricity, Care 360, and E-clinical works. Moreover, she is credited with being the product architect of software like PIMS and Sovfleet (for American health treatment centers), and C.O.M.P.A.S.S and Cogtest (evidence-based psychological assessment and screening software tools).
She has co-founded a cloud-based platform -Yotalks.com, an online psychological counselling platform to help the Indian population seek mental health and addiction treatment therapy from the privacy and comfort of their homes.
A medical graduate, she has completed the Leadership and Change Management Program from the prestigious Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Ahmedabad. She is also a certified Scrum Product Owner from Scrum Alliance and a Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt) from Motorola Solutions.
Her core competencies include value-driven decision making, adaptability, resilience and most importantly sensing the market accurately. In other words, Dr. Malik is a true visionary.
Dr. Ashish Kumar Mittal
Medical Director MD - Psychiatry (AIIMS)
As the Medical Director of Athena Behavioral Health, Dr. Ashish Kumar Mittal brings years of experience in clinical, research and teaching in the field of adult psychiatry, child psychiatry, anxiety, obsessive-compulsion disorder (OCD), depression, de-addiction and the treatment of psychosexual disorders to the table.
An alumnus of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Dr. Mittal is one of the top psychiatrists in Gurgaon. Having served in the capacity of Head of Department Psychiatry at SGT Medical College, Dr. Mittal has also lent his expertise as a Senior Consultant at Max Hospital, Apollo Clinic and Columbia Asia Hospital.
A renowned name in the mental health and addiction treatment landscape, Dr. Mittal has been awarded the India Healthcare Award 2014 for his service in patient care. Under his able leadership, Athena looks forward to introducing innovative effective treatment protocols that enhance the treatment journey and experience for all our patients.
Dr. Saras Prasad

Dr. Saras Prasad, MD in Psychiatry from the prestigious D.Y. Patil University, has years of valuable experience in treating child and adolescent mental health issues, geriatric mental health disorders, and addiction disorders. After completing his MD from the prestigious D.Y. Patil University, he enriched his experience by working with reputed institutes like Safdarjung Hospital, New Delhi, Central Institute of Psychiatry, Ranchi, Fortis, Noida, and Yatharth Super Specialty Hospital, Noida Extension.
A celebrated author, he has published multiple papers in national journals. The Indian Psychiatric Society, West Zone (IPSWZ) selected his paper on Smartphone Implications and Psychological Correlates as the best paper.
As a mental health professional, Dr. Prasad advocates the use of creative methods to treat mental health disorders, keeping in mind the needs of the patient. He has a keen interest in psychoanalysis and believes that a detailed history is half the cure. According to him, mental health is not about happiness, but about acceptance and honing the ability to manage one’s emotions appropriately. Prerna Sethi Mishra
RCI-Licensed Clinical Psychologist
Prerna Sethi Mishra is an RCI registered Clinical Psychologist and certified Expressive Arts Based Therapist. She is trained in Cognitive Behavior Therapy from Beck’s Institute and Child and Adolescent Mental Health from Children’s First.
She has previously worked as a consultant Clinical Psychologist for UVI Health and as a counselling psychologist and Expressive Arts Based Therapist at Fortis Memorial Research Institute. She has briefly held the position of School Counsellor at Kendriya Vidyalaya, Delhi.
An empathetic person, Prerna understands the challenges that a person suffering from mental health problems and dependence issues faces. She believes that providing such patients with the appropriate outlet to express themselves allows them to talk about their feelings, which can be then used to design their customized treatment plan. When not working with patients of mental health or dependence, she enjoys spending time with her pets, watching movies and gardening.
Dheeraj Arora
Psychologist
Dheeraj Arora has completed in masters in Clinical Psychology. He has extensive experience in treating patients suffering from physical and mental stress. Having worked with patients of all age groups in multiple organizations offering mental health treatment, Dheeraj feels that psychology can be used to identify and resolve problems.
A trained and competent professional, Dheeraj, as is name suggests, is patient, caring and compassionate. He carefully assesses the patient to understand their unique situation and behavior pattern so that an effective comprehensive multi-approach treatment plan can be devised and administered.
Dheeraj is an outgoing person who loves gardening, drawing and boxing. He feels that psychology can be used to prevent mental health problems after all prevention is always better than cure.
Nikita Gaba
Psychologist
Nikita Gaba works as a Psychologist and Case Manager at Athena Behavioral Health. After completing her post-graduation in Clinical Psychology, she has worked with Medanta – The Medicity Hospital, Gurgaon, Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, Delhi and Cognizavest LLP. She is also a core team member of Youth for Seva, a non-governmental organization involved in providing meaningful opportunities to youth to serve the country.
A firm believer in compassionate and empathic care, she has worked closely with uniquely abled children re-asserting their confidence and enabling them to live a more fulfilling life.
Nikita has a keen interest in badminton and art and craft. When not socializing, she enjoys singing. She is a lifetime member of the Red Cross Society. Sincere and dedicated to patient wellness, her motto in life is “If you don’t like something, change it. If you can’t change it, change the way you look at it”.
Shivangi Rajawat
Psychologist
Shivangi Rajawat completed her Masters in Clinical Psychology from Amity University, Noida. She is also trained in administering DBT and handling relationship issues and couples counselling. Having worked with multiple mental wellness centers in Gurugram and Delhi, Rajawat knows how to work with mental health patients of all ages and various psychological conditions.
Rajawat is an expert in eliciting patient information and is adept at identifying behavioral patterns in mental health patients. Such keen observations help her to diagnose the patients accurately and plan their treatment accordingly.
When not working with her patients, Rajawat enjoys gardening, watching movies and playing with her pet dog. She believes that staying strong and positive can help a person overcome all obstacles.
Sahebanna Doddamani
Psychologist
Sahebanna Doddamani has completed his Masters in Clinical and Counselling Psychology from the Central University of Karnataka. He is trained in administering different types of therapies like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), rational emotive behavior therapy (REBT), exposure and response prevention (ERP) and systematic desensitization.
Doddamani has wide experience in working with patients with mental health disorders and addiction problems. He has treated patients with schizophrenia, obsessive personality disorder (OCD), mania, depression, anxiety, stress, and personality disorders. He also conducts family counselling after understanding the problems that the family is going through.
When not taking care of patients, Daddamani enjoys reading books and playing cricket and carom.
Inayat Sandhu

Inayat Sandhu has joined Athena Behavioral Health as a Psychologist. Having worked with esteemed organizations like Fortis Hospital, PepsiCo, and Community Builders, she brings a wide range of relevant experience and soft skills to the table.
Sandhu specializes in addiction treatment and can easily recognize signs of overdosing, frequent use, and emergency situations. She is a keen observer and quick to respond to the patient’s needs and requirements. She is an expert in motivating patients so that they stay committed to their recovery journey.
She believes that spreading awareness about mental health disorders can go a long way in removing the stigma associated with them. When not building a rapport with her patients, or working on developing an effective mental health treatment plan for them, she enjoys reading books.

Dr. Tulna Bhardwaj works with Athena Behavioral Health as an Occupational Therapist. With more than 8 years of experience with organizations like G.D. Goenka Public School, she believes that her true calling is in helping people become self-reliant.
Dr. Bhardwaj’s dedication to her patients is commendable. She comes up with innovative ways to assist her patients, slowly nurturing them towards independence. When not working with her patients, she enjoys travelling and listening to music.
Garima Singh
Speech Therapist
Garima Singh is a Speech Therapist and a Special Educator with Athena Behavioral Health. She has acquired a Diploma in Hearing, Language and Speech and holds a Master’s degree in Human Development and Childhood Studies.
With more than 6 years of experience as a Speech Therapist and Special Educator, Garima feels that a child can benefit immensely with behavioral therapy focusing on speech and academics. She further feels that customized therapeutic interventions based on this philosophy can help a child overcome their learning difficulties to grow slowly each day.
When not spending time mentoring children, Garima enjoys dancing, swimming, and reading. Blessed with a green thumb, she loves planting and nurturing plants and finds immense solace in seeing them flourish.

After completing his B.Sc., Xavier John Rodrigues found his calling in the nursing profession. He started working with organisations dedicated to the mental well-being of patients. He has accumulated over 9 years of experience working with renowned psychiatric rehabilitation centers, the most prominent of which was Sunshine Wellness Center, Mumbai.
Devoted to the comfort and welfare of his patients, Xavier can be seen working comfortably throughout the day with patients of all age groups and with various mental health disorders. He loves talking to them and sharing stories thereby enriching his own experience.
An enthusiastic professional, he feels that if you believe in something, you can achieve it. A staunch believer in God Almighty, Xavier knows that God can do what men cannot do and therefore stays in touch with him through his prayers.

Apart from working with Shri Hospital as a Nursing Staff for over one year, she offered her professional services to Shree Dwarika T.E. Darjeeling West Bengal for four years.
