Arushi Kumari

Arushi Kumari is a dedicated Clinical Psychologist who has recently joined Athena Behavioral Health, bringing a wealth of experience and a compassionate approach to her practice. Based in Faridabad, India, Arushi fosters a safe and open environment for dialogue with her calming and intuitive presence.

Arushi completed her Msc in Psychology from Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology and B.Sc. in Life Sciences from Delhi University. Currently on the verge of completing her M.Phil Clinical Psychology course from SGT University (RCI recognized), Arushi has honed her skills through various internships and training programs.

During her internships at the Institute of Human Behavior and Allied Sciences, My Fit Brain, and the Unique Institute of Behavior Sciences, Arushi gained hands-on experience in counseling, mental health examination, and assessments. She exhibited strong problem-solving and leadership skills while observing sessions and assessments conducted by MPhil clinical psychology trainees. Her internship at Karma Center for Counseling and Wellbeing provided her with a comprehensive understanding of adult and child psychopathology.

Arushi has a diverse skill set, including proficiency in Cognitive Behavior Theory, CBT, DBT, MET, schema therapy, sex therapy, crisis counseling, and mindfulness. She holds certifications for the Rorschach test (Level 1 and Level 2), Thematic Apperception Test, Child Apperception Test, and Essential-I Cognitive Behavior Theory by the Beck Institute. Additionally, she presented a research paper at the IACP in 2023.

With three years of part-time work at My Fit Brain in Hisar and volunteer experience at the Delhi Counseling Helpline, Arushi is well-versed in handling a range of psychological issues, including anxiety, depression, OCD, relationship and sexual dysfunction, marital issues, borderline personality disorders, and eating disorders.
