Heena’s journey in the field of psychology began with her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Psychology from the University of Delhi, where she graduated with high honours. She further specialized in Clinical Psychology, earning her M.Phil. from Mahatma Jyoti Rao Phoole University, where she was a Gold Medalist and the top performer in her College. Her dissertation, titled “Burnout in Trainee Clinical Psychologists: Role of Empathy, Professional Self-Doubt, Coping Orientation, and Psychological Flexibility,” reflects her deep understanding of the complexities of mental health and her commitment to advancing the field.

During her tenure as a Clinical Psychologist Trainee at the Vivekananda Institute of Mental Health and Neuro Sciences, Heena managed a diverse caseload, utilizing assessments like MMPI, SSCT, and BKT to diagnose and inform treatment plans. She developed and implemented individualized treatment plans and provided crisis intervention services, demonstrating her ability to handle urgent care situations effectively.

Heena’s internship experiences at Samvitt, Bee Hive Junior School, and Saksham Child and Adolescence Clinic further honed her skills, particularly in working with children and adolescents with special needs.
