Tushar has joined Athena as a Clinical Psychologist and aims to utilize his professional and technical experience for the welfare of the masses. He is an adaptable M.Phil. (Clinical Psychology) degree holder from Amity University, Noida who has worked with renowned personalities in the clinical psychology domain and in prestigious organizations such as Delhi Psychiatry center, National Institute for the Empowerment of Persons with Intellectual Disabilities, and Deen Dayal Upadhyay Govt. Hospital. He follows a methodical approach towards his tasks and is strongly driven to complete them within deadline.
Tushar is a self-motivated professional who follows a customer-focused approach. He has conducted assessments on children and adolescents using various psychometric tests and is also experienced in providing private consultation to the individuals dealing with mental disorders. He makes sure that the treatment is designed only after conducting thorough tests, observation, surveys, and interviews.
Tushar has an ability to encourage his patients to strictly follow their treatment plans. He enables this by discussing their health status with their families and relatives and helping them understand the benefits of seeking psychotherapy. Tushar can attain a high level of patient satisfaction rate by providing individual, family, marital and group psychotherapy to patients from different sections of the society.
Tushar has attended several workshops to enhance his skills as a psychotherapist. A few of these include Dr. Dwarka Prasad on mental retardation and developmental disabilities in young children, Neuro Linguistic Programming by Dr. Ram Verma, and webinar on beating anxiety by Dr. R.K. Suri (Chartered Clinical Psychologist). He has also conducted online and offline sessions as a counselor at Meera Bagh Centre organized by Akasha Ananda Foundation, Mental Health amidst COVID-19 at Industrial Training Institute, Patiala, and “Coping during the lockdown with the help of various psychological interventions” at Khalsa College, Patiala.
