Sunishtha has joined Athena Behavioral Health as a “Case Manager.” A postgraduate in Psychology, Sunishtha has a demonstrated history of working in the mental health industry, psychological assessments, and designing interventions. Sunishtha has worked as an intern with several organizations namely Cognizavest, We Avec u Organization, Alternativetechniques and theories of Counselling, Psychosiksha, and Sir Ganga Ram Hospital.

Sunishtha is skilled in conducting research & analysis, psychological assessments, college & career counselling, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) & other behavioral therapies, positive psychotherapy, SPSS, and MSE taking. Her dissertation work was on “The Relationship between Techno stress and Psychological well-being among Technology Users and Technology Creators” during her graduation, and “Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and its Impact on Interpersonal Relationships and Mental well-being amongst adults” during post-graduation.

Apart from her studies, Sunishtha has also completed her certifications in “Accredited Certificate course in Family Therapy”, and “Accredited Certificate course in Behavioral Therapies.” As an intern, she has gained experience in various domains such as, observing the clinical cases, taking the case histories of the clients, and conducting their psychosocial assessment; conducting group sessions and psycho-educating the psychiatric patients about mental health and related issues.

Sunishtha is also experienced in identifying disorders from case studies, devising an intervention plan and behavior modification chart for children with autism spectrum disorder. She can also help patients in learning ways to improve their well-being using techniques such as positive self-talk, mindfulness techniques, gratitude exercise, and other alternative counselling techniques.
