An M.Phil. in Clinical Psychology and an RCI licensed clinical psychologist, Shashvat Shanker boasts of several years of experience in managing patients with various mental and behavioral disorders. With hands-on experience in EEG and neuro feedback therapy, he has worked closely with patients of addiction and substance abuse.
During his internship with the Vardhman Mahavir Medical College and Safdarjung Hospital, Shashvat developed a keen interest in research and development focused especially on emotion, emotion regulation, substance use, behavioral modifications, mindfulness and cognitions.
Pained by the stigmatization of mental health and addiction patients, Shashvat wants to work towards eradicating this discrimination and irrational beliefs associated with mental health disorders. He also wants to provide the best support possible for those facing psychological struggles to ensure that they are well-taken care of. When not thinking about his patients, Shashvat enjoys mindfulness meditation and exploring nature.
