Prerna Sethi Mishra has joined Athena Behavioral Health as Head – Client Engagement. She is a RCI registered Clinical Psychologist and a certified Expressive Arts Based Therapist. Prerna Sethi Mishra is trained in Cognitive Behavior Therapy from Beck’s Institute and Child and Adolescent Mental Health from Children’s First.
She has previously worked as a consultant Clinical Psychologist for UVI Health and as a counselling psychologist and Expressive Arts Based Therapist at Fortis Memorial Research Institute. She has briefly held the position of School Counsellor at Kendriya Vidyalaya, Delhi.
An empathetic person, Prerna understands the challenges that a person suffering from mental health problems and dependence issues faces. She believes that providing such patients with the appropriate outlet to express themselves allows them to talk about their feelings, which can be then used to design their customized treatment plan. When not working with patients of mental health or dependence, she enjoys spending time with her pets, watching movies and gardening.
