Khushboo Kamiya brings a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to mental health advocacy to her role as Case Manager at Athena Behavioral Health. With a background in clinical psychology and a demonstrated history of working with diverse populations, Khushboo is dedicated to providing compassionate care and support to individuals facing mental health challenges.

Having completed her integrated Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Amity University, Noida, Khushboo has honed her skills through hands-on experience in various clinical settings. Her journey includes stints at renowned institutions such as Moolchand Medcity and Mindscape, where she delved into case history taking, psychological assessments, and intervention strategies.

Khushboo’s passion for understanding and addressing the needs of different demographics is evident from her diverse range of experiences. From volunteering at the NAB Centre for Blind Women and Disability Studies to working with children with ADHD, ASD, and LD at Potentials, she has demonstrated a commitment to inclusivity and accessibility in mental healthcare.

Her research publication, co-authored with A. Teotia explores the relationship between entrapment and attitudes towards seeking mental health services among young adults—a testament to her dedication to advancing the field of psychology through empirical inquiry.

Beyond her clinical work, Khushboo is actively involved in mental health education and advocacy. As the Co-chair and Creative Head of Project Magic Shop in the Rotaract Club, Delhi City Nexus, she has spearheaded initiatives to promote mental health awareness among underprivileged children, organized guest lectures, and facilitated online platforms for expressing gratitude and support.

Khushboo’s commitment to ongoing learning is reflected in her pursuit of certifications, including courses from Yale University, the State University of New York, and the University of California. Currently pursuing a Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst Professional Certificate, she demonstrates her dedication to leveraging technology for improved mental healthcare delivery.
