Deepanshi Sakhuja

Deepanshi Sakhuja is a compassionate Case Manager/Psychologist at Athena Behavioral Health, dedicated to helping individuals navigate their mental health journey’s with care. With a strong academic background, she holds a degree in MA in Clinical Psychology from Amity University and BA (Hons) in Psychology from Mata Sundri College for Women, Delhi University.

Her extensive experience at various renowned hospitals like Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia, Sir Ganga Ram, Moolchand, VIMHANS etc., honed her skills in case history taking, psychological assessments, and therapeutic interventions, allowing her to develop a well-rounded approach to mental health care.

Deepanshi’s professional qualifications are complemented by her ongoing commitment to learning and growth. She is a member of the Counsellor Council of India and is also the Department Head of the Peer Support Team at You’re Wonderful Project. Her involvement in peer support and mentoring programs, coupled with her participation in the Student Placement Committee at Amity University, showcases her ability to balance clinical practice with administrative responsibilities.

She has also pursued specialised certifications in Queer Affirmative Therapy, Rorschach Inkblot Test, Mental Health Recovery, and Ethics and Code of conducting among others. Her skills in active listening, relationship building, treatment planning, cultural competence, and trauma sensitivity complement her passion for social work, making her an effective and empathetic advocate for those in need.
